About the Author

Ken Scotland is a former Scotland and British & Irish Lion. He played club rugby for the Royal Signals, Cambridge University, London Scottish, Leicester and Aberdeenshire, as well as his home club of Heriot's. He lives in Edinburgh.

Allan Massie CBE (born 1938) is a Scottish journalist, columnist, sports writer and novelist. A Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature, he has lived in the Scottish Borders for the last twenty-five years.
