David S. Faldet has deep roots in Northeastern Iowa, where he makes his home. He teaches literature and writing at Luther College and is the author of Oneota Flow (2009).
"King is a story, both a subtle and compelling mystery. David
Faldet has woven together a story that will take the reader on a
remarkable journey."
--Philip Freeman, Pepperdine University
"In this inventive and visceral mystery, David Faldet grips the
hearts and minds of his readers, leaving us gasping for answers,
but also relishing in the discovery of these compelling characters,
their situations, and the harrowing northeastern Iowa landscape.
Like a cold water stream in late October, Faldet's writing is
clean, crisp, and refreshing. A must-read debut."
--Keith Lesmeister, Author of We Could've Been Happy Here
