Simona Simon is a Lecturer at the Politehnica University of Timisoara, Romania, where she teaches interpreting, pragmatics, oral communication, discourse analysis, and advertising. She is an assistant editor for an academic journal, and a member of the scientific boards of two academic journals. She has published the book The Persuasive Function of Written Advertisements (2014), two chapters in edited volumes, twenty-six scientific articles, four book reviews, and one translation. Claudia E. Stoian is currently an Assistant Lecturer at the Politehnica University of Timisoara, Romania, where she teaches translation, discourse analysis, pragmatics, communication mediation and English as a foreign language. She is also an assistant editor for two academic journals and a translator. She has published the book The Discourse of Tourism and National Heritage: A Contrastive Study from a Cultural Perspective (2015), four chapters in edited volumes, fourteen scientific articles in academic journals, and eleven translations.
