A knuckle-whitening look at what our future could hold, LAST LIGHT is chilling, compelling, and above all, convincing. After several years of research, Alex Scarrow has written a thriller that depicts in a harrowingly convincing way just how fragile our society really is - and how we are only a hair's breadth away from its collapse. With his debut, A THOUSAND SUNS, Alex is already establishing himself on the thriller scene. This is a wonderful subject - a disaster 'movie' with a very topical twist - THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW for the oil-poor world. Alex combines big-picture action with great characters better than any other young British thriller writer out there. 'LAST LIGHT is sensational' London Lite. 'Alex Scarrow's depiction of Britain as only a few hours away from disintegration is chillingly plausible' DAILY TELEGRAPH.
Alex Scarrow lives a nomadic existence with his wife Frances and his son Jacob, their current home being Norwich. He spent the first ten years out of college in the music business chasing record deals and the next 12 years in the computer games industry. LAST LIGHT is his second novel.
