About the Author

Rob Packer is a man who lives the message contained in this book. To him 'honor' is not just a concept - it is a foundational value on which his life and ministry is built. He is a man who sees and believes the best in people, calling them into the fullness of their identity in Christ through his words, attitudes and actions. For over forty years Rob has trained and equipped believers around the world, establishing strong foundations in their lives and empowering them to walk in their calling. He is a skilled communicator and gifted teacher, a widely respected "father in the faith" and mentor to many. His teaching has a clarity and practicality that enables people to easily grasp and put into practice what is being taught. Rob is also a song-writer, worship leader and music teacher with many years experience in these areas. Because of his gifting and wisdom he has become a trusted mentor of many worship leaders. He has produced numerous ministry resources including training manuals, worship and soaking CDs, and DVDs. Rob and his wife Lyn co-lead XP Ministries in New Zealand (under Patricia King's oversight) and they have also held senior pastoral positions in several New Zealand churches over their forty-plus years of ministry. Rob is also part time Worship Pastor at Hope Centre, their home church in Tauranga. In his spare time Rob loves to get out on the ocean in his sea kayak, exploring the coastline of his beautiful nation, or riding the bike paths in the Bay of Plenty, the region he lives in.
