This is an excellent read and I couldn't put it down.

What would you do if you were a childless couple and the opportunity arose for you to keep a baby that washed ashore in a boat?

This book makes the reader wonder what they would do in a similar situation. Quite a moral dilemna actually and if faced with a similar situation, I imagine that it would be very difficult not to act the way that the mother did.

I loved this story. It was emotionally charged, right to the end.
