Pamela McGeorge has had a passionate interest in gardening for many years. For six years she was editor of the New Zealand Gardener and is now a freelance garden writer and editor based in Central Otago. She has edited an international series covering a number of popular garden plants, and has contributed two books to the series -Irises (2002) (written with Alison Nicoll) and Carnations and Pinks (written with Dr Keith Hammett). Russell McGeorge has been a full-time photographer for over five years, since retiring from a senior executive role in engineering in 1998. He is now freelancing as a photographer, specializing in garden photography and landscapes.
