About the Author

Consulting Editor Paul Griffin heads the global energy practice at Herbert Smith. He has over 20 years' experience in the oil, gas, LNG and power sectors, ranging from corporate transactions and projects to regulatory and competition work, privatisations and financings. He has also been closely involved in dispute resolution in the energy sector. Mr Griffin's work int he LNG sector has ranged from early supplies into the United Kingdom to more recent production and liquefaction projects in the Middle East and Africa, and regasification projects in Europe and Asia. He has additionally had close involvement with the changing contractual arrangements for the sale and purchase of LNG.
