John Bul Dau is a Dinka from southern Sudan. One of thousands of lost boys who fled their homeland to survive, he passed though hunger exhaustion, and violence, finding shelter at refugee camps in Ethiopia and Kenya. In 2001 he came to the United States where he now lives with his wife and daughter. Michael S.
