About the Author

Kate Thieda, MS, LPCA, is a licensed professional counselor and national certified counselor who serves as an outpatient psychotherapist at Duke University. She is the creator of the blog "Partners in Wellness," on the award-winning website PsychCentral.com. The blog is targeted to partners of those who have mental illness.
