About the Author

Regardless of how it may seem, David Picciuto, host and creator of the popular YouTube channel Make Something, wasn’t born with sawdust in his blood. Over the years, he has pursued a wide range of passions—music, photography, video, web development, graphic design, and now woodworking. But the seemingly crazy path makes more sense than you might first think. All of David’s pursuits are creative and sharing the opportunity to experience creation is David’s goal, whether it’s via the videos of Make Something or his two best-selling books, The New Bandsaw Box Book and Make Your Own Cutting Boards.
