Noelle Brigden is an Assistant Professor of Political Science at Marquette University.
This volume details the ways in which migrants from El Salvador, Honduras and Guatemala both plan their journeys and improvise as they make their way to the United States via Mexico. Their activities have served to alter the 'social landscape' of Mexico, says Brigden, and even call into question the viability of the nation-state. (Survival: Global politics and strategy)
