I found the Sizemore and the Shayne stories to be nothing special [yes, gasp, I mean Susan Sizemore], but I did enjoy Handeland’s ‘cobwebs over the Moon’ [be warned, 1st person AND the werewolves are bad]. Manhattan socialite Carly Kelly finds her father dead and discovers the mother she thought was dead is alive…or should be, except when Carly tracks her down her mother’s bodyguards are dead and her mother is missing. Pursued by werewolves across the Alaskan wilderness, the only person she can depend on is handsome Dylan, soldier and werewolf hunter. The fourth novella in the book is also quite good, a.k.a. the Christine Feehan jaguar books. When scientist Jessica travels to the Amazon she finds that her guide, Javier, is not just savagely beautiful in appearance. Let’s just say that when Javier talks jaguar, he’s not speaking of a car.
