Following the outbreak of war in Ukraine, these words feel more
relevant than ever before. A beautiful book.
*BELLA*
The message is a simple but essential reminder that no matter where
we are in the world, it’s the same moon that shines down on us.
*The Big Issue*
It can be easy to close one’s eyes and ears to the struggles of
others – to think as though we exist in completely different
realities. Rodari’s beautiful words are a reminder that we share
just one world. And that we must not ever lose sight of each
other’s right to live peaceably within it.
*Just Imagine*
This poem illustrates the truth of shared humanity. This is not
about Ukrainians but about humanity and everything we have in
common. It’s beautiful in its simplicity and the artwork has a
uniquely raw feel that I love.
