About the Author

Rick Stein is a well-loved and respected chef, TV presenter and author who has produced an array of award-winning books and television series, including Rick Stein's Seafood, Seafood Lover's Guide, Taste of the Sea, Food Heroes, French Odyssey, Mediterranean Escapes, Coast to Coast most recently his Far Eastern Odyssey. All of his books and programmes show a commitment to good-quality produce, sustainable fishing and good husbandry. ick owns four restaurants, a delicatessen, a patisserie, a seafood cookery school and forty guest bedrooms in the small fishing port of Padstow, Cornwall. In 2003, Rick was awarded an OBE for services to West Country Tourism. He divides his time between Padstow and Australia, which he regards as his second home.

For the fish lover, a great little book that takes the fear out of fish. I will be buying all Rick's seafood books, as I am not disappointed with these recipes. Not only the recipes are wonderful and full of flavour, I have not had a flop yet, but they are inspirational, and help you understand the characteristics of different species of fish.

The recipes are simple to follow and the outcome - simply delicious! It's a handy one to keep close by when you're planning your weekly meals or grocery shopping. My family is eating more fish all thanks to Rick Stein. I'll be buying this for my sister who came over for dinner and totally loved what she ate!
