Jane Bailey-Hall retired from education after a 26 year teaching career. Humor played an essential role in gaining her students' trust and respect. She regarded laughter as an essential part of her teaching philosophy. If a child leaves school surrounded by awards and accolades, but has his head hanging down, then academic success has prevailed. If a child leaves school with a smile on his face and his head held high then learning has taken place. Jane received numerous educational awards and appeared on television programs rewarding Educational Excellence. She established a rapport with her students that allowed them to develop into confident and independent thinkers. Whenever school or life became overwhelming, Jane taught her students how to find a smile and a silver lining. After withdrawing from her fifty-five year old cocoon, Jane can finally check off "write a feel good" book from her bucket list as she pursues a bartending career hoping to make people laugh and forget about life for awhile. Ms. Bailey-Hall has 3 wonderful sons and the cutest little grandson. She resides at the Jersey Shore.
