About the Author

Born in London, Cheryl grew up in Cheshire. After gettingmarried and raising two children in Scotland, she realiseda life-long dream of moving to France with her husband.Together, they renovated an early 19th century farmhouseand opened a B&B in the Creuse region of south westFrance. When business slowed down due to Covid-19, Cheryl decided to fulfil another life-long dream andbegan writing her first book, In My Mother's Footsteps.
