If you're wanting to leave the fertiliser & chemical spraying companies behind this is the book for you.
Pats philosophy, which is based on a lifetime of practical & theoretical learning is one of listening to what the land & animals that graze it are trying to tell you. If there is illness in your animals or paddocks full of weeds Pats' soloutions generally come back to the basis of remineralization & balancing of the land. Pat is consistent in her method & has soloutions that really do work. I have used Pat's recommendations for my sheep & cattle & am about to trial part of our farm under Pat's method in the hope of creating better soils, better pasture & heathier livestock.
A fantastic book that every farmer should have on his/her coffee table.

Very helpful book. Was looking for a book just like this, and found it as good as I had hoped. Recommended for all lifestylers and those interested in natural, synergistic and sustainable farming.

A thought provoking book. I have farmed for many years and found some very new ideas for me. I decided it is definitely worth trying this method of sustainable farming. Well worth a read, you too may get keen on giving your land and yourself a better life.

Agreeing with other reviewers. Pat Coleby combines scientific analysis and discussion of both chemical and biological processes with his breadth of experience farming in diverse environments. His perspective is clear. Soil health leads to plant health, plant health leads to animal health and all this leads to human health. This book is beneficial for anyone engaged in land management and a must for all regional libraries.
