Sandy had a very adventurous life growing up as a preacher's only child. Moving and meeting new people shapes one as either an outgoing person or a very withdrawn and shy person. Thankfully, she became the outgoing child.
Ministry continued in marriage with her husband, Richard, and their seminary journey at Southern Theological Seminary with two young sons, Paul and Andrew.
When Sandy graduated, her goal was to be in ministry with preschool and children; she accomplished it and has served in church ministry for the last thirty years.
Sandy prays that God will use this book, No Books on the Shelf, as a reminder that reading and holding a book is still a special way to stay connected to our world that is overtaken with technology.
