ROBERT S. JORDAN is Research Professor of International Institutions, Professor of Political Science, and Seraphia Leyda University Teaching Fellow at the University of New Orleans. His first book, a study of the NATO International Staff/Secretariat during Lord Ismay's founding tenure, was followed by over twenty books he has either authored, co-authored, or edited, published in the United States, Britain, and Nigeria, with translations into French and Chinese. He has also served on the editorial boards of several scholarly journals, and has many articles and chapters in books dealing with national security, international politics, and international organization and administration. His current research project, sponsored by the U.S. Naval War College, is NATO, The Enduring Alliance: Multinational Military Leadership Transformed.
