About the Author

Jennifer Louise Augustine was raised on a ranch/farm near a small town in the Pacific Northwest. As a child, she fantasized about traveling and living in places she read about in encyclopedias. Armed with an education and a spirit of adventure, she accepted jobs in lands she knew of only in books. She lived and worked outside the United States for 12 years. It was only ill health that forced her to return to the USA. She taught university-level classes in health information management until she retired in 2012 at which time she decided to write of her adventures overseas. Jennifer now volunteers for church and community activities. She enjoys reading, singing, gardening, writing, and dreaming. She has been able to travel, though not as extensively, since her return to the US. She now lives in a small urban community in the Pacific Northwest.
