If you already know what you can do with Microsoft Office, and you would like to make a 'seamless' transition of Office 2010, this book is your answer.
Written by an experienced user, for experienced users (or just fast learners), this book gets straight to the heart of the matter - i.e. where to locate familiar commands within the ribbon interface.
With concise, consistent instruction format, and a comprehensive index, you are able to swiftly locate exactly what you need to know. No more downtime while you search for familiar commands, you can embrace Office 2010 without interruption to your normal workflow.
This book enables you to:
? restore the permanent toolbar for frequently-used commands
? restore processes to one-click operations
? customise Microsoft Office programs to your needs
? understand why your 'old' documents don't always behave as you expect, and tells you what to do about it.
Instructions are designed to deliver you to 'familiar turf', from where you can proceed unaided.
The author - a qualified and experienced IT trainer - has created a compact, truly portable (A5), user-friendly book (coil-bound to lie flat and generally containing a full set of instructions within an open-page spread) which addresses the core issue in upgrading to Office 2010. In short, this is a book which can be kept always at hand and which will end up with many dog-ears and signs of wear - in other words, a book which will be used, rather than just filling a space on a bookshelf.
