About the Author

Connie Owens has been a life long resident of eastern North Carolina. She has one daughter, Rebecca, and three grandchildren, Mitchell, Matthew, and Dakota. Connie was a country music singer/songwriter for many years. Today she is retired and enjoys working in her yard or relaxing at the beach. Sharing her terrifying experience and the aftermath of dealing with PTSD is important to her. She is very excited about writing this book and hopes it may help others understand PTSD and the changes it can create in your life.
