Further savagely funny and deeply moving true life adventures from a comic genius
Paul O'Grady first came to fame in the guise of Lily Savage, and was nominated for a Perrier Award at the Edinburgh Festival in 1991. Lily later became a regular on This Morning, took over the bed on The Big Breakfast and presented Blankety Blank, but has now retired (reportedly). Paul, of course, went on to further success presenting his chat shows on Channel 4 and ITV, For the Love of Dogs and Animal Orphans on ITV, and his weekly show on BBC Radio 2, inter alia. His three previous volumes of autobiography - At My Mother's Knee, The Devil Rides Out and Still Standing - were all Sunday Times bestsellers. Paul has won numerous awards including a BAFTA for Best Entertainment Performance, National Television Awards for Most Popular Daytime Programme and Most Popular Entertainment Show, and a Comedy Award for Best Comedy Entertainment Personality. His show about Battersea Dogs and Cats Home, Paul O'Grady- For the Love of Dogs, has won two National Television Awards for Best Factual Entertainment and also received a BAFTA nomination.

Riveting" * Mirror * "Whether writing about star-studded Hollywood parties, the devastating loss of close friends to Aids or his late night shenanigans, O'Grady's wit has never deserted him" * Liverpool Echo *
