Papillon Training Book Author, Karen Douglas Kane has raised several terriers on her farm she grew up on in Idaho. Eventually she went onto higher education and has a PHD in Literature.

When she graduated, shortly after, she fell back on her love for training dogs, and is also a professional dog trainer, when not raising two terriers and three kids in their teens. Naturally she combined her two passions professionally.
