About the Author

Author J.A. Rich is a native of Baltimore, Maryland. Shy and reclusive as a child, J.A. loved to escape into books and television. He was fascinated by the science fiction/ fantasy genres and a fanatic comic book aficionado. He authored many short stories, honing his skills as a writer. J.A. also emceed and performed at many spoken word and poetry venues around Baltimore city. The son of historians, J.A. has a deep interest and is well versed in Baltimore City history and culture. He first came up with the idea of writing Pennsylvania Avenue, hearing the stories of his father's sisters who grew up along the avenue in the forties and the fifties. Fascinated, he threw himself into recreating stories from that long gone world of yesteryear. J.A. has expressed interest in writings from five to six different novel genres with possible stories branching of from each. Those genres range from Horror to Science Fiction to Drama, and of course History; of which, with genealogy has him in the planning stages for an epic story like none ever written before. His one wish is to bring the reader into the worlds that he conceives, so that they can see as he sees and experience for themselves. So relax, grab one of J.A.
