Vivian Russell is a writer, photographer, film maker and gardener. Monet's Garden: Through the Seasons at Giverny won her the Garden Writer's Guild Award for Best General Gardening Book and established her reputation for combining superb photography with a gift for writing. Edith Wharton's Italian Gardens, Monet's Water Lilies and Monet's Landscapes, all also published by Frances Lincoln, received further acclaim.
