"After my wife died three years ago, I wish I'd had copies of this book to pass on to my friends. Too many advised me on how to grieve, how long to grieve, and things not to do the first year. They meant well; that didn't make them helpful. Like others who grieve, I had to find my own path to healing. Thanks, Gary, for this easy-to-read book. I hope many will read it."--Cecil Murphey, New York Times bestselling author of more than 130 books, including Gifted Hands: The Ben Carson Story and 90 Minutes in Heaven.

"This book gives immense hope to the grieving heart and those who want to help. The author's simple, straightforward, and practical approach is refreshing and healing. I recommend it highly." --Paul Casale, Licensed Professional Counselor/Marriage & Family Therapist

"Another masterpiece for the bereavement library. This book is a must read for those who authentically want to assist and support those around us who are grieving." --Dr. Craig Borchardt, President/CEO Hospice Brazos Valley

As someone who personally knows loss, this book provides great comfort. I could not recommend these words more!" -- Kim Dafferner, author, Hospice Social Worker"Please Be Patient, I'm Grieving is a very important resource in helping support and care for anyone experiencing the grieving process. Knowing "HOW" to care for and comfort, as well as "WHAT" to do for loved ones, family and friends before, during and after the Remembrance Services. It's important to BE there for one another a day, a month and years afterwards." -- Dr. Maisha Tianuru"This is an amazing resource for people who are grieving and for people around them. It's short and easy to read which makes it incredibly practical for people in the whirlwind grief causes. "This book touched on every raw emotion I have felt after the loss of my mother, sister in law and uncle over the past year and a half. The author likened grief to a bus that hits you unexpectedly and that is so true. This was a very comforting and easy book to read." -- Marcia E. Kelley, Author
