"There are hardly any authentic textbooks on port management that can be referred to by the academic community and by practising managers in the maritime sector. This void has been very effectively filled by Port Management. Extremely well written by a select group of 40 experts, this is an eminently readable book with a balanced mix of port operations and policy analysis; it also provides critical assessment of policy effectiveness, governance and regulatory issues. Port Management is a must-read text in the field."--Dr Jose Paul, Former Chairman of Mormugao Port Trust, Goa; Former Acting Chairman JN Port, Mumbai; and Adjunct Professor of Maritime Studies, AMET University, Chennai
