Dilanthi Amaratunga is the Professor of Disaster Managementat the University of Salford, UK where she leads the University'sCentre for Disaster Resilience. Richard Haigh is a Senior Lecturer at the Centre forDisaster Resilience, the School of the Built Environment,University of Salford, UK.
