Reviews

"Innovative, interesting, exciting: the work gathered in PUSH Paper--part of a stunningly designed new gallery series--is some of the best paper art being created today. Thirty contemporary paper artists, from world-renowned names to talented up-and-comers, all put their own spin on cutting, sculpture, installations, pop ups, paper toys, and more. A vibrant question-and-answer section with the book's distinguished juror, Jaime Zollars, and a biography of each showcased artist complete this visual feast of paper craft." --Felt & Wire "There are those who stay within conventional boundaries to achieve what is probable. There are also those who push such boundaries to transform what some say is impossible into the possible. The 30 contemporary paper artists featured in this book are part of the latter ... artists who push the limits of paper art to create works that are truly breathtaking. As we admire the works of paper artists like Anne Vought, Rob Ryan, Elsa Mora, Jill Sylvia and many more, we find inspiration to push our own works to new heights." --CRESCENDoh.com "The book, handsomely assembled, explores paper architecture, engineering, sculpture, installations and illustrations that will delight, amaze and confound the viewer." --American Style magazine "These [PUSH] books are full of truly inspiring, beautiful and interesting artists and works, pushing the boundaries and exploring ideas and concepts and their chosen medium to the full. These artists are incredibly skilled, have gigantic imaginations and work with unexpected materials and subject matter." --Whip Up
