About the Author

Katherine Allen was an experienced teacher of Qigong and Taiji from 1992. She was a senior instructor member, past committee member and honorary vice president of The Tai Chi Union for Great Britain. She was a Level 8 senior instructor of Practical Tai Chi Chuan International, and an instructor member of the British Council for Chinese Martial Arts. Since 1992 she had taught thousands of people of all ages and requirements, and given workshops, talks, demonstrations and performances to a wide variety of groups and institutions, including London Mind Body Soul exhibitions and GMTV. Her longtime interest in physical and mental health and the mysteries of a joyful, peaceful, youthful spirit were driving forces in her life.
