About the Author

Denis M Provencher is is Associate Professor of French and Intercultural Communication at the University of Marlyand, Baltimore County and Editor-in-Chief of the journal Contemporary French Civilization. He is the author of Queer French: Globalization, Language, and Sexual Citizenship in France (Ashgate Publishing, 2007)
