Where did I come from? What happens when you die? What's divorce? From the moment children can formulate questions they begin to bombard their parents with "Why?" "What?" "Where" and "How?" Naturally curious they often catch us off guard leaving us unsure of how to answer their questions with an approprate response. Now with the down-to-earth advice of Dr. Miriam Stoppard--the nation's leading authority on childcare--parents can learn how to tackle the difficult questions their children ask and use them as opportunities to teach the values of kindness tolerance justice and generosity. Best of all Stoppard offers parents a foundation on which they can build their own answers as their child's understanding expands.

What a great and informative book to own when you have curious children that ask endless amounts of questions. The best part about this book is that it has different responses to answer different age groups so there is no wondering if your explanation is too much or little for a certain aged child.

Answers to questions children may ask, that we as parents / carers may not have answers. How much information is too much information. There are different levels of answers for different age groups. Some of the answers are a bit too advanced for the age groups, but it gives a guide on what to say. Because of the different levels of answers, I wouldn't give it to a child to read. Good reference book for Parents.

One of the features of this book is that the answers are taylored to the age group of the child, so there are several answers with an increasing degree of depth and detail. There are also additional sections such as reasons a child might ask a particular question as well as further discussion opportunities.
