Dr. James P. Gills, M.D. is founder and director of St. Luke's Cataract and Laser Institute, the country's largest free-standing ambulatory surgery and eye-care center, located in Tarpon Springs, Florida. Named Entrepreneur of the Year 1990 for the State of Florida, Dr. Gills received the Free Enterpriser of the Year 2000 by the Florida Council on Economic Education. He has partnered with Christian Blind Missions International to raise funds for one of the largest humanitarian efforts of its kind: the eradication of preventable blindness worldwide by 2020. He has written more than 120 medical journal articles and numerous books, including A Biblical Economics Manifesto and LOVE: Fulfilling the Ultimate Quest.
