Heather Phipps is a believer and follower of Jesus Christ, Christian minister, wife and mother of two adult children. Since giving her life to Christ in 2000, she served in many ministries. Her heart has always been to serve others and share God's love with them. She served in drama ministries and on the mission field. When her children were young, she helped start a "Missions at Home" ministry for Children to learn to serve others in their circle of influence. As her children grew, she chose to homeschool her children to give them a biblical foundation. She helped start an educational co-op for homeschooled children and was very active in the homeschool community. Heather's heart to love people was born out of her personal struggles and God's radical mercy, grace, and guidance that delivered her out of broken religion into a real and thriving relationship with Jesus. It was a major turning point in her life when she realized she knew all about God, but didn't "know" God, just like the people in Matthew 7:22-23. This realization made her seek the Lord in a new way, and He took her on a recovery journey, accompanied by deep biblical and psychological studies. Heather learned how to live free of the fear and shame that once consumed her. She found confidence and overcame a fear of rejection and failure. The Lord gave her gifts of discernment and wisdom to understand His ways, and a calling to mentor others to find the same freedom. In obedience to that calling, Heather co-founded and serves as an apostle for The Hope of Ruth Ministries Church in which she ministers, plants churches, and raises up leaders in the church. She started Rebuilt Recovery, where she serves as a recovery pastor, Rebuilt coach, and Christian consultant. She has also authored and co-authored many courses for T.H.O.R. Academy including "Digging Deeper", "The Jewish Jesus", and "Rebuilt for Life".
