About the Author

Kay Cassidy West holds an associate's degree in ministry and a master's degree in counseling. Prior to becoming a missionary, she was a women's ministry leader, a music instructor and worship team member, a pastoral counselor, and a volunteer for Moms in Prayer International and at a shelter for pregnant women. West had been active in both her church and her local community, but God had different plans in store for her life. She and her husband sold their possessions, left their successful careers, and moved across the world to Swaziland to share his love. Refiner's Fire contains stories from that adventure.
