The 12 catagories, some including subcatagories, are as follows; Structuralism; Semiotics; Narratology, Narrative Text-grammar, Narrative Semiotics; Psychological Criticism; Sociological Criticism, Literature and Society; Marxist Criticism, Literature and Politics; Feminist Criticism, Gender Criticism; Reader-Response Criticism; Reception Aesthetics; Phenomenological Criticism; Hermeneutics; and Deconstruction, Post-structuralist Criticism, Post-Deconstructive Criticism. The author and classified indexes provide exact entry numbers whereas the general index refers the reader to the classified index for this information. . . . Researchers can look forward to a Dictionary of Critical Theory, ' and a Handbook of Critical Theory' by the same author within the next two years. Recommended, for its comprehensive coverage and currency, to graduate-level collections."-Choice "The indexes are particularly useful as each section has its own index in addition to the comprehensive ones that conclude the volume. These are a general index, an index based on subjects and major theorists, and an author index. Researchers can choose to work with a particular theoretical approach independently of the other critical bibliographies. On the other hand, they can use the comprehensive indexes if they need to locate material relating to more than one approach."-ARBA ?The indexes are particularly useful as each section has its own index in addition to the comprehensive ones that conclude the volume.
