About the Author

As a child, Suzy wanted to be George, but was actually more like Anne. Now she is a pretty good mixture of both. She is a teacher, writes regular columns for educational magazines, and lives with husband and co-author Neil, in Frome, Somerset. Neil is a lawyer who wanted to be Biggles. They have two grown-up children and, despite writing together, are still married! They lead bookclub discussions around childhood freedom, 1970s culture, and enjoying vintage books with your children.
