About the Author

Elizabeth Haynes is a police intelligence analyst. She started writing fiction in 2006 thanks to the annual challenge of National Novel Writing Month (Nanowrimo) and the encouragement of the creative writing courses at West Dean College. She lives in a village near Maidstone, Kent, with her husband and son. Her first novel, 'Into the Darkest Corner', was the winner of Amazon's Rising Stars and has been translated into 30 languages. Her second novel, 'Revenge of the Tide,' was published in March 2012. Karen Cass studied French and Spanish at Cambridge University before training to be an actor at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. Following many stage and TV appearances earlier in her career she currently specialises in voice acting and has recorded numerous audiobook titles in all genres for all age-groups as well as film and museum voiceovers including Wimbledon’s social media tribute to Roger Federer on his retirement. Karen is also an accomplished tennis player, representing GB and still plays competitively both home and abroad.
