After training as a drama teacher many moons ago, Phil Lee switched to travel writing. He has been writing Rough Guides for well over twenty years and lives happily in Nottingham, UK, where he was born and raised. Joanna Reeves is a Sussex-based travel writer and editor who has updated several UK-based and European Rough Guides, including parts of the Rough Guides to England and Great Britain, Pocket Rough Guide Reykjavík and Rough Guide Minis Bologna and Rīga. She is also the editor of the brand-new Rough Guide to Slow Travel in Europe.
