The most important Fantasy Event this century: at long last, the return of Thomas Covenant the Unbeliever
Stephen Donaldson spent 13 years in India, where his father was a medical missionary and orthopaedic surgeon; the idea for Thomas Covenant grew out of his father's work with lepers. The first trilogy won Donaldson the British Fantasy and John W Campbell Awards. He is also the author of the Gap SF novels, the World Fantasy Award-winning collection Reave the Just and a series of mystery novels. He lives with his family in New Mexico.
