Laura Baker is a prolific, versatile, and acclaimed
children's author. She has written and edited all sorts of
different books for children and teens, from fact books and story
books to activity and craft-tivity. She has written about farms,
castles, rocks and even talking onions! Laura grew up in Canada but
now lives in a lovely coastal town in South Wales with her husband,
two sons and big basset hound dog.
Lynn Huggins-Cooper is a widely published author with well
over 80 books in print for parents and their children. She is also
a regular contributor to the Times Educational Supplement, Nursery
Education, Prima, Disney Explorer and BBC Learning Magazine. She is
a qualified primary teacher, praised by OFSTED as 'outstanding',
who left the crowded South of England some years ago for the rural
delights of County Durham.
Alex Foster is an award winning illustrator based in
Margate, UK. He specialises in map and children's illustration.
