Craig Johnson's Longmire novels are consistently excellent, with character, plot and setting or well honed. You are unlikely to get a more enjoyable read and A Serpent's Tooth is no exception. I recommend starting with the first novel (A Cold Dish) and working your way through them, but anywhere is a good start. Additionally, the TV series won't disappoint.
