The book can be recommended for specialist anaesthetistsand, in particular for trainees in the subject .It may also serveas a source of reference for veterinary surgeons in generalpractice who wish to develop the procedures in theirpractice. (The Veterinary Journal, 1August2013) However, none of those books are as concise, thorough, and dedicated to local and regional anaesthesia of small animalpatients as is this book. (Journal of TheAmerican Veterinary Medical Association, 15 March 2013) It will be useful and stimulating reading for any vet insmall animal practice with an interest in anaesthesia, and will beparticularly valuable for residents or those preparing forpostgraduate examinations.
