"This is a comforting bedtime story, resolved nicely at the end with Small and Tom together again, tucked in bed and smiling sleepily." School Library Journal
This story hones in nicely on a common occurance in a child's
life that doesn't always end with such happy results. Vulliamy's
artwork, reminiscent of Shirely Hughes', is as much fun in its
realistic moments as it is during Small's fantastic adventure.
