About the Author

Jan is an author and writer on start ups and early scale ups. Her first book was Scale for Success, Bloomsbury 2021 and Start for Success, 2023, aims to help both aspiring and growing entrepreneurs everywhere.She draws from her own career, founding and sometimes growing small businesses so is completely familiar with the challenges involved. She describes herself as on a continual learning journey with the entrepreneurs she speaks to for her books and articles across the globe.She has always been passionate to encourage and support other entrepreneurs and has been involved in many campaigns. She was chosen as one of the first 50 women to represent the UK in the European Union on one of these.Her writing is know for both a direct style and total authenticity.
