Chris McNab is an author and editor specializing in
military history and military technology. To date he has published
more than 40 books, including A History of the World in 100 Weapons
(2011), and written extensively for major encyclopedia series,
magazines and newspapers.
Howard Gerrard studied at the Wallasey School of Art and has
been a freelance designer and illustrator for over 20 years. He has
worked for a number of publishers and is an associate member of the
Guild of Aviation Artists. He has won both the Society of British
Aerospace Companies Award and the Wilkinson Sword Trophy.
Alan Gilliland, a contributor to more than 70 Osprey titles,
