Ruth Ann Berry owned a pharmacy for many years before converting it into a quilt shop. She writes quilt books and patterns with a focus on Bargello and other three-dimensional or geometric styles. She lives in Michigan, USA.
This book aims to de-mystify 3S quilts, shapes which seem to float
or come out of the quilt top. A 60 degree triangle ruler is
required. A brief description of fabric choice and equipment is
given. There are 12 projects – 11 quilts and one table runner,
but interestingly most have a variety of size options, up to four
are given. They are all made with the same method which is given on
the 'making a quilt' pages. The project pages have the fabric
requirements for all sizes and the sewing chart to follow for each
quilt. This book does what it claims, to simplify 3D quilts.
