Owen Everard James is the author of Jamaican by Birth American by Choice and Brackets... A Book of Poems. He is a graduate of the Mico Teachers' College (now the Mico University College) in Jamaica, an honors graduate of Howard University in the United States, and a diplomate of the Institute for Advanced Technical and Vocational Training in Italy. Mr. James has lived and worked in the Caribbean, North America and East and Southern Africa. He is also the author of "Jamaican by Birth American by Choice" and "Brackets". He is retired and resides in Florida.
